The Ghosts of Hotel Wayne

Hotel Wayne Paranormal Activity

The following is a summary of the experiences of Crystal Boehmer, a renowned psychic and seer as part of the investigation of the Hotel Wayne for paranormal activity.

The Horse

On sensing the presence of an animal in the Philip Hone private room: "The horse is most definitely a race horse . He"s a quarter horse and the only name I could come up with was "Sparky", "Spartacus" or something of that likeness. I can see the horse shoe so it is most definitely there”

Hotel Comment:The Hotel was built in 1827 when horses were the mode of transportation. The Philip Hone room was originally the passage to the stables in the rear of the Hotel. Also, there is a long tradition of horse racing in Wayne County

The Bathroom

On the unusual event with steam in one of the main floor restrooms "The bathroom!!!! This one is my favorite and definitely the most intriguing. I think that I told you a bit about how spirits world. They really need alot of energy to do something in this realm. It is very rare to get a full blown apparition.

Copper is one of the metals that spirits seem to be able to manipulate and draw energy from. Throughout the night the steam heating was used many times as a form to let us know they were there. In fact at one point a team member was trying to discredit the heat noise, so I told it to "knock it off" and we had no further experience with the heat causing any noise.

Back to the bathroom. You said this happened around the same time that we spoke. As I stated before they will know when we are coming and can "act up" a little bit. This is very common. In fact most times they continue to act up for a few days to a week after we have left. So for the bathroom I believe they were using the easiest form theycould to try to manifest and let you know they were there.

If you were to have taken a picture in the room I am confident you would have caught an apparition. We did again inspect the plumbing and pipes and there is no explanation there. As for things being hot to the touch, when something moves it automatically puts out another form of energy, in this case heat. This is not a foreign concept. So with the energy that they were trying to build and did, I believe they left it hot due to the work they needed to have put into it. Mind you again that the time of day has absolutely nothing to do with how active spirits are"

The Office

"The smells and the person walking outside your office". There is most definitely a man that walks by your office and maintains head quarters throughout that whole side of the Hotel, without going into the bar or past the stairs. Who is it? All I know is that he is a soldier, I believe from the civil war. He keeps watch over the women in the building if that makes any more sense to you than it does to me.

As for being able to speak with him, I tried, I even laid on the bench outside your office for a bit, but he is just re-living what he had done his entire life. I don’t think that he knows he has moved on to another realm.

At one point in the night we were in the basement and I heard gunshots so loud that I covered my ears. I have no clue why but at some point guns were definitely fired there and they were very old guns as the timing between shots is not from a newer gun. It also left behind a FOUL SMELL."

Hotel Comment: The foul smell is reminiscent of black powder firearms of year’s past

Margaret

"There is most certainly a woman on the second floor, last room on the right. The name I come up with is Margaret, although the room is inhabited by more than one person, but from different times. There’s a teacher and she seems to love numbers. The age at which she died would have been 97 or 98. Her eye sight failed towards the end and she complains of her feet swelling. A team member says diabetes, but I know very little about the medical field. The teacher frequents the balcony".

Hotel Comment:This is room 208 which,in year’s past, was used as 2 bedroom apartment and is now one of the Hotel’s 2 bedroom suites.

Paul

"In the basement we have a "Paul". He is just stuck on his ways. He toyed with the light fixtures while we were down there and may have a shadow of him, but again although I think that everyone that goes down there feels him watching he does not have any intent to harm. I believe he would move things, but that’s only because he wants things left his way. At some point in his life I believe he would have gone "mad" and probably sealed himself off to the basement. Why I have no clue. He didn’t want to talk and as I said I do not provoke. Others on the team felt him touch them, but I do not allow such things so I can’t say".

Hotel Comment; Paul was a long time cook in the Hotel who passed a few years ago. The entry to the basement is from the kitchen. Paul spent a lot of time at the Hotel and was very comfortable there.

The Third Floor

The Prostitute

"On the 3rd floor you have a prostitute in red. She was treated terribly and died at the hand of a man that was there. She kept referring to "the Captain".. Who that is I don’t know. Ralph(my husband) sees a ship there."

The Young Man

"I can’t remember what room but there is a very young man that died of an over dose. I had a very lengthy talk with him. At first he would not allow us into the room but finally he allowed us in. He would have been dead when someone found him and he is still sorry about that. I doubt he will stay there as I urged him to move to the light and told him he has been forgiven"

Hotel Comment:Room 321

The Building

"There is a doctor in the bar area but to the right.
-There’s also an "Adams" and a "Smith" in the building.
-There"s a few children in the building. This I have no clue as to why. A mother sits in a room on the second floor singing to the child--- Rock-a-bye baby."

Hotel Comment: All our paranormal activity is friendly……………….
